Having previously worked on projects with RG Carter, they were already aware of the quality of our workmanship, upon being awarded the Carrow Quarter, Phase 1 & Phase 2 contract. They approached us to enquire if we would be interested in undergoing the project.

For this project, we carried out all internal decoration of the Quarter Quay accommodation building. This included Phase 1, 75 – 1 and 2 bedroom flats and Phase 2, 89 – 1 and 2 bedroom flats. In addition to that, we also decorated all of the public hallways and stairwells.

The paint specified was white Crown Vinyl Matt & Crown Satin for woodwork. Every room was decorated to an incredibly high standard by hand – due to the limited space, spraying the walls was not possible. However, with at least 10 operatives working on the site at any one time, we were still able to complete the work on time.

 

When it comes to a project of this scale, RG Carter will only work with companies who can demonstrate that they are CSCS and Safe Contractor accredited. At BMA, all of our operatives hold a valid CSCS accreditation and have received the necessary training in all of the paints we use to ensure a high end finish every time.

Due to the scale of this project, RG Carter requires there to be a qualified site supervisor, therefore, an accredited SSSTS site supervisor is on-site full time.

Following this project, we have been awarded the contract to decorate Phase 3, which we are currently in a process of completing 74 – 1 and 2 bedroom flats.
